First of THANK YOU SOO MUCH for all the kind comments and emails and VOTES on Tara's blog. I'm a huge fan of her work so just thought it'd be cool to send a picture in. Never in a million years thought I'd get on there!! so really - thank you! I think I answered all the questions - but to those wondering - the boots came from Target (online) - just search for rainboots - there are TONS are very cool cool styles.
So since the holiday have snuck up on me, I need to go trim the tree, bake some cookies and do a little shopping. I recruited my own santa's helper to get the tree out :)

being kicking up in the air!!! So, I saw an ad in a magazine a few months ago and said -yep, thats what I want to do with my sisters family this year for holiday pictures. Its always a challenge to come up with something fun and creative with 6 very cool kids and 1 mom. They are always up for anything and I knew they'd be up for this. These kids are my guinea pigs all year long when i get a creative itch so nothing is new when I have an idea and it needs executed.
We had a blast doing the shots and I love the boots they found for the photos. They each picked out a pair and a style to match their personality - and it worked perfectly.
I have another gorgeous sister who has 2 kids - I'll share next what we did with her kids!!!

oh wait she does! hehehe. Thought I'd post some shots of a gooorgeous YOUNG ( if i told you her age you would D.I.E) girl who models for The Docherty Agency and who I do portfolio work for their childrens division. We froze~ but had soo much fun! She's was a such a joy to work with.

Finally getting around to post a few from the 1st round of mini's from the country sessions. I've posted a few here and there already - and still have some yet to post...but here are a few I've ran across to share.

For those who inquired about the baby session below: the 1st shot the rug the baby is laying on is from Ikea - (love that place) and the wall behind is actually the baby's room color. The baby was laying on his dresser, and I bounced my flash off the ceiling to get that shot. Thanks for all the wonderful comments and emails! I do appreciate them!

I've noticed a trend this holiday season...one that I'm finding to be the most adorable thing... do you see it?
I just LOVE how the older sibs are helping the younger ones either sit up for the camera or look at the camera.. melts my heart with those grins...
ahhh..to get my boys to do this!! anyone wanna help me????
